Animal Crossing: New Horizons Toy Day guide – walkthrough and rewards

Toy Day is Animal Crossing: New Horizons‘version of a winter holiday as a gift, and it features a delightful reindeer called Jingle.

He will appear in front of your Resident Services building on December 24 for help. When you talk to him, he will give you the recipe for Festive wrapping paper, and will ask you to make three for him. To make a Festive Wrapping Paper, you will need one of each color of Ornament, which you can find by shaking the pines.

After giving him the three pieces of festive wrapping paper, he will give you a magic bag to deliver the gifts. He will also give you Toy Day Socks, which you can hang on your home wall.

With the Magic Bag in hand, equipped as a tool, you can chat with villagers to deliver gifts. You will not need to choose a gift based on your personality or something like that, you will only need to talk to them to deliver a gift. After delivering gifts to half of your residents, you will receive a DIY recipe for a Pile of presents. Delivering gifts to each villager will reward you Toy Day Sleigh furniture item.

Be sure to hang your Toy Day socks around your home. If you do, you can interact with the socks and get Jingle photo on December 25th. What a nice gift from the black-nosed reindeer!

When you have finished delivering the gifts to Jingle, you can also wrap the items and give them to the villagers. In return, they will give you gifts. The gifts will be chosen at random from the toys that Nook’s Cranny sold during the month of December, so if you missed the opportunity to buy one, one of your villagers may be kind enough to give you one for Toy Day.

The Jingle photo, toy day socks, toy day sled and DIY recipes for the festive wrapping paper and pile of gifts are all unique items of the event that you can get on toy day. If you’re wondering where to get some winter-themed or vacation items you’ve seen elsewhere, you’re probably looking for a recipe for Snowboys or balloons during the winter.
