Animal Crossing New Horizons may be planning something huge for the second season

The Mario update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is coming. Initially planned for March, the update will arrive on February 25th. While it may be a secondary observation for many, it actually means much more. Fortunately, all of this will only make ACNH fans extremely happy.

SwitchForce on YouTube feels that Nintendo thought hard to decide the release date for the next updates. The reason behind this is Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ birthday. As one of Nintendo’s most successful games completes a year of release, the company wants to give fans something exciting.

Animal Crossing New Horizons can celebrate its birthday with Sanrio residents

Fans should remember the Sanrio cards that Nintendo brought out some time ago. The retail launch of the cards is on March 26, six days after ACNH’s birthday. SwitchForce believes that this is no coincidence. In fact, this is the perfect opportunity for Nintendo to introduce major changes to the game for the so-called ‘Second Season’.

He feels that Nintendo intentionally avoided making the Mario update a big problem. Aside from some items and clothing, there isn’t much that comes with the February 25 update. The fans obviously have the cool bend tube feature, but this is not as good as the new villagers.

The idea behind keeping the Mario update simple would be to save the major changes for an upcoming birthday update. With the next patch being labeled 1.8, Switch believes the March update will finally change to 2.0. This update will feature all Sanrio villagers in the collection of cards lined up for launch next month.

Go back to the days when fans thought Brewster would return to ACNH

Most of the content that the data miners leaked has already come into play. However, an update that everyone was looking forward to was the arrival of Brewster, our favorite pigeon, in the game. The long wait for Brewster to set foot on our islands can finally come to an end.

The anniversary update would be the perfect opportunity for Nintendo to add another popular villager from previous editions of the game. This could add new elements to the game, like a coffee for Brewster if Nintendo finally decides to add it to the game.

This is just one of many assumptions about how Nintendo would like to end a fantastic year for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The game contributed immensely to the success of the Nintendo Switch. It certainly deserves a blast for your birthday.
