February is here, which means that there is another batch of fresh creatures to pick up Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
There is no rush to pick up any of them, as you will have a whole month or more to pick them up, but be sure to donate any new finds to Blathers to complete your Museum. You can tell when you picked up a new creature because your character will exclaim “Yes!” before saying the name of the insect or fish.
You can also check your Critterpedia to see if you donated the insect fish or not. If so, there will be a small owl icon next to the creature’s name. (Note that these badges will not appear if you are on someone else’s island.)
The northern hemisphere is receiving only one new creature, the Tiger Beetle. The southern hemisphere, however, is receiving a handful of new insects, fish and even a new sea creature to dig up in the ocean.
We have a list of all the new discoveries below, separated by hemisphere.
