Angry Scottish shopping cop gets nasty with a man shooting video

Shopping venues are often publicly owned spaces, and sometimes a person’s rights are unclear. In closed malls, however, like the one in this video, it may be better to stop filming when asked. On the other hand, it is definitely better not to threaten and assault someone who refuses to do so, and this furious mall cop may have some explanations to give to the real ones.

While it is true that the buyer is unmasked (or removes the mask during the confrontation), that is not why the mall cop is crazy.

BONUS: we are in Scotland.

Just take a little bit out of your hand, will you?

UPDATE: It is the Kingsgate shopping center in Dunfermline. They are taking the buyer’s complaint “very seriously”.

“We recognize that the actions of our security team members are below the high standards of professionalism expected by us and our customers …” wrote Neil Mackie, shopping center manager, in a statement. “The act of producing video or still images is prohibited under the guidance of the Home Office in private locations open to the general public and this is clearly stated on all Kingsgate Shopping Center entrances. However, it appears that we do not communicate this in a way appropriate for Mr. Newton. “

“Would it be funny if I fucking knocked you out?”
