Angela Hill vs. Ashley Yoder 2 postponed due to COVID-19 protocols, transferred to UFC Vegas 21

The rematch between Angela Hill and Ashley Yoder will have to wait.

The UFC announced on Saturday that a scheduled strawweight fight between Hill and Yoder at UFC Vegas 20 was officially postponed “due to the COVID-19 protocols”. Hill and Yoder were rescheduled to compete on March 13 at UFC Vegas 21.

According to a video posted by Yoder on Instagram, in which she also apologizes to Hill and her team, one of Yoder’s cornermen tested positive for COVID-19.

At his first meeting at The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale in July 2017, Hill defeated Yoder by unanimous decision.

Hill vs. Yoder would happen on UFC Vegas 20 main card, at UFC APEX, in Las Vegas. It is not yet known whether another fight will be lifted from the preliminaries to take the place. The card will continue with nine fights.
