Andy Cohen says Sharon Osbourne should RETURN to The Talk amid a racism dispute

Andy Cohen gave his take on Sharon Osborne’s ‘Megan Markle race’, which saw her CBS show, The Talk, temporarily down.

Sharon, 68, was accused of being racist after defending her friend Piers Morgan after her comments on Megan Markle’s interview on Oprah.

Discussing the saga on Thursday, Andy said he believed Sharon should never have gone off the air.

– In my mind, what they should have done with Sharon Osbourne was to go back, get on the horse the next day, talk in the air. Keep talking, ‘the reality show producer told Australian radio show The Kyle And Jackie O Show.

‘Now we are investigating [The Talk] and we are investigating what happened. It’s like, just keep talking, ‘he continued.

Radio host Kyle Sandilands agreed, adding that ‘just keep talking’ has always been his mantra when it comes to controversy.

Kyle co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson wondered if it is now too late for Sharon to return to The Talk.

He comes amid fears that Sharon may never return to The Talk after CBS launched an investigation after his fight on the air with co-host Sheryl Underwood over Piers’ comments about Megan Markle.

Last week, Piers left Good Morning Britain after saying he did not believe a word Meghan said in her interview with Oprah, in which she revealed that she had considered suicide during her time as a senior royalty.

Addressing the Tweet on the air, Sheryl asked Sharon: ‘What would you say to people who can feel that, while you are with your friend, it looks like you have given validation or safe haven to something he said is racist , even if you don’t agree? ‘

Sharon replied, saying that she felt like she was being placed in the ‘electric chair’ for having him as a friend.

She asked co-hosts to show what Piers had said was racist.

Sharon said in an ET interview that she was surprised by Underwood when she was questioned on the air last week about her support for Morgan and her right to freedom of expression.

Following the air showdown, CBS canceled The Talk episodes for Monday and Tuesday and the show was scheduled to return on Wednesday.

However, CBS has confirmed that The Talk will not be back until next week while an investigation is underway.
