New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s political tactics are to “intimidate” and “be filled with vengeance, spite and betrayal,” US Representative Lee Zeldin, RN.Y., told Hannity on Friday.
The congressman’s comments were made during a discussion of the coronavirus-related nursing home scandal that hit Cuomo’s administration.
Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee added his own observations during the same program.
“You know you’re in trouble when you’re Andrew Cuomo, a Democratic governor from New York, and you have AOC [Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] and Alec Baldwin and members of his own party who smell the blood in the water and are coming after him, “said Huckabee, who joined Zeldin, Fox News contributor Charles Hurt and host Jason Chaffetz.
“AOC and Alec Baldwin … smell the blood in the water and they are coming after him.”

“His intimidation has finally caught up with him and people are no longer pretending to be afraid of him, and are speaking out,” added Huckabee. “I think his time is limited. He can end his term, but I think this is the last thing he will do politically.”
CNN and the governor’s brother, Chris Cuomo, deflected and minimized Cuomo’s controversies, with the far left network giving their developments little or no airtime – and giving presenter Chris Cuomo, the governor’s younger brother, free rein to conduct friendly and comical interviews with your older brother.

“I still say that, from 30,000 feet high, the worst crime is cover-up by the media,” argued Hurt. “The degree to which the media is treating him as a kind of hero, treated him as a kind of hero from the start … We are talking about thousands of people who died because of a directive he issued forcing COVID patients – highly-communicable and infectious COVID patients – to nursing homes, to the rooms of the most vulnerable people in the country. “
As outrage over Cuomo grows, Huckabee says the Democratic governor’s arrogance will wipe him out.

“Cuomo just doesn’t want to be held responsible for his decisions …” he said.
“His arrogance is so overwhelming that he refuses to say, ‘I was wrong’. People will forgive you for being wrong, they will not forgive you for being arrogant and not wanting to accept responsibility when you have this job, “added Huckabee.
As for what happens next, Zeldin predicted that Cuomo would be stripped of his emergency powers, which expire on April 30.

“Republicans in the New York State Assembly are pushing for impeachment … It looks like there may be some Democratic support for that, we’ll see where that goes …
