It ended the old man – and his cardboard cutout – for Ben Affleck.

On Monday, it was confirmed that the actor broke up with girlfriend Ana de Armas, whom he met on the set of his next film Deep waters. The breakup, after about 10 months together and high-profile quarantine cohabitation, would have occurred over the phone – although there is a discrepancy about whether she left him or whether they made a mutual decision.

The split took place “two weeks” ago, another report said, and Affleck, 48, wasted little time wiping out memories of his former girl Bond, 32. The same day the division made headlines, someone in a landscaping shirt he was spotted throwing out a giant cardboard cutout of the Cuban actress in the trash containers outside Affleck’s Los Angeles home.

There have been more than one Missing girl reference about it on social media – as well as jokes that Affleck’s brother, Casey it was really the masked man who committed the action. (For the record, the photos showed several men in landscapers’ shirts combining throwing out trash and tidying up the star’s property.)

There is no denying whose poster it is, however. A few months ago, the full-size image of De Armas was part of a game she played with his children, which he shares with Jennifer Garner, in his backyard. Affleck’s middle daughter, Seraphina, 12, ran around the yard with the poster in her arms like the Knives Out actress chased her laughing. The youngest Samuel, 8, was also there for the laughs. (Affleck and Garner also have 15-year-old Violet.)

On Tuesday, a bearded Affleck left behind his gate alone to pick up his daily delivery of Dunkin ‘Donuts – something he used to do with De Armas.

In late 2019 and early 2020, Affleck and de Armas co-starred in their next film together, which shows them playing a couple. Shortly after saying that he would like to have a “healthy” relationship, Affleck and de Armas were seen together in Cuba in March. The pandemic left them quarantined in Los Angeles not long after, making daily trips to walk dogs on the PDA. They became Instagram officials in April, when they celebrated her birthday. Later, they spent time with their mother, Chris, as well as with their children.

After filming, remake to Deep waters in New Orleans in November, it was reported that the couple had officially moved in together and she listed her home in Venice Beach in December. They spent the holidays with their children and things seemed to be going well – until the news of the end of this week.

A source said People from the breakup, “Ben is no longer dating Ana. She broke up. Their relationship was complicated. Ana doesn’t want to live in Los Angeles and Ben obviously needs it, since her children live in Los Angeles. “

Another source said: “This is a mutual and totally friendly thing. They are at different times in their lives; there is deep love and respect there. Ben continues to want to work on himself. He has three defined jobs and is a solid father at home. Both are happy with where they are in their lives. “

The magazine also relied on the source saying that the separation was during a phone call (although apparently longer than the end of the 27-second phone call from Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift), explaining: “They had several discussions about their future and decided together finish . “

And since that separation, de Armas has seen a drastically different new hairstyle on her friend Claudia Muma’s YouTube channel. The look is a short bob with bangs.
