An unboxing video of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is now online

The Galaxy A52 5G will probably be announced next week at Samsung’s second Unpacked event of the year, but thanks to a unpacking video seen by GSMArena, we won’t have to wait so long to see it in action.

The next midsize device has been subject to many leaks in the past few weeks, and the YouTuber Moboaesthetics video seems to confirm many of them. The device in the video corresponds to previously leaked renderings and appears to be fully functional.

The specifications presented in the long video include a 64 megapixel main camera with OIS, a 120 Hz display, IP67 dust and water resistance, fingerprint sensor under the screen and a 4,500 mAh battery. Unlike the S21 series, there is a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

The A52 5G and also rumored A72 5G are expected to be accompanied by cheaper non-5G variants with slightly lower specifications, such as a 90 Hz screen instead of 120 Hz. In all, they are preparing to look like highly competitive mid-range phones.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed exactly what it is announcing at next week’s event, but given the appearance of this video and the recent leaks, it looks certain that the A52 5G will make its debut soon.
