“If we wanted this to work in the long term and hiring, we needed to simplify things. It is all behind the scenes work and, although it meant time away from the game, it would make it easier for us, current and future, to develop the game better,” he adds. Innersloth. “We want to do more for you to show how grateful we are, but without sacrificing the quality and values we had before that broke out.” Clearly, the small team is head down now working on new content for the game and ensuring that it is ported to new platforms in the near future.
As for what is to come now that much of that work is done, Innersloth says it will soon launch a 2021 roadmap. The developer notes that he hoped to launch the ‘Accounts’ system planned for the game earlier, but that a first update with a focus on moderation will come as soon as possible, which will create a basis for this update. Ultimately, Innersloth wanted to “make sure it’s not half done before implementing it. (Trust me – you don’t want a bad reporting system with no responsibility behind it.)
