‘Camp Auschwitz’ disorder, several police officers arrested, accused of encircling the Capitol
Federal authorities on Wednesday announced charges against several people who allegedly participated in the siege of the United States Capitol in recent weeks. Police officers Thomas Robertson, 47, and Jacob Fracker, 29, of Virginia’s Rocky Mount Police Department were arrested, charged and placed on administrative leave. In an already deleted post on Facebook, Robertson reportedly wrote that “CNN and the left are crazy because we really attacked the government,” adding, “The right IN ONE DAY took the fucking US Capitol. Keep poking us.” At least 28 active police officers from 12 states were identified as having participated in the occupation of the Capitol, according to a count by The Appeal, many of whom were suspended, including Philadelphia Police Detective Jennifer Gugger, an apparent QAnon believer who even last week he served in the department’s Recruitment Background Investigations Unit, veteran Tam Dinh Pham was on administrative leave after “penetrating” the Capitol last week, adding: “I can say that there is a high probability that this individual will be accused of federal charges, and rightly so. “accused more than 70 people, identified more than 100 others and plans to prosecute many of the people he had invaded n the Capitol in “significant crime cases linked to sedition and conspiracy.” The FBI is warning of major threats of violence in DC and state capitals before President-elect Joe Biden takes office. Other people so far accused include Olympic gold medalist swimmer Klete Keller, filmed on Capitol Hill wearing her US team jacket, and Cleveland Grover Meredith Jr., arrested last week with two firearms and about 2,500 rounds of ammunition, including 320 “armor-piercing” cartridges. Meredith arrived late at the Capitol siege, but sent a message to a friend who planned to shoot Mayor Nancy Pelosi (D-California) and Washington, DC, at Mayor Muriel Bowser, prosecutors say.
