AMC Entertainment, Fox, GameStop: what to watch when the market opens

Here’s what we’re watching before Tuesday’s opening bell.

US stock futures faltered before a flood of economic data.

The S&P 500 futures were up 0.1% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were relatively stable after the top two indices closed at record highs on Monday. What’s coming

Gains are due cybersecurity company CrowdStrike and business application company Coupa Software after closing.

Monthly retail sales for February it shrank 3% in the monthly comparison, a drop much greater than expected. Sales growth in January was revised upwards to more than 7.5% of what had previously been recorded as the biggest gain in seven months. US commercial inventories in January, due at 10am, are expected to increase 0.3% from the previous month.
