A significant replenishment of the PS5 console aired on Amazon US earlier today.
This took buyers by surprise, with no prior announcement by Amazon.
This was the first major drop in Amazon shares in the U.S. since the November 12 launch date.

It is estimated that the console was purchased by thousands of buyers. Most orders are due for delivery on December 30, 2020 and January 5, 2021.

Unfortunately, most buyers arrived late. Although the website still stated that the PS5 was in stock, they received an error message when trying to add it to the basket.

This is shown when the product is already out of stock in stock, but the website front end has not been updated.
How long did Amazon US refueling take?
The PS5 disc edition was in stock shortly after 11am EST and lasted just 9 minutes before everyone disappeared. He returned to stock again just before 4 pm EST, taking just a minute.
Meanwhile, the PS5 Digital Edition was in stock shortly before 12pm EST and only lasted 2 minutes.
Any of the PS5 editions was available for a maximum of 12 minutes. This is no surprise how quickly the PS5 is running out at other retailers.
When will the PS5 be back in stock on Amazon US?
There has been no official announcement from Amazon about restocking the PS5.
