Amazon offer offers best discounts on noise-canceling headphones below $ 100

Today’s Dealmaster is spearheaded by a cool deal on Anker’s Soundcore Life Q30, as wireless noise-canceling headsets are available for $ 68 at various retailers. This represents $ 12 off the typical online rate for the device and only $ 4 more than the lowest price we track.

Although we recently praised the $ 200 Puro Pro headphones, the Soundcore Life Q30 is a great choice for those who can’t afford to spend that much. We haven’t formally reviewed the headphones on the website, but we plan to make them a budget choice in a guide to noise-canceling wireless headphones. For less than $ 100, they offer a comfortable design that is well padded and lightweight on the head (if heavy on plastic), battery that can provide more than 40 hours per charge (depending on volume), USB-C charging, physical controls volume and playback and convenient pairing of multiple devices.

In terms of sound quality, the Soundcore Life Q30 has a “V-shaped” signature, which means that they accentuate the bass and treble ranges at the expense of some midrange details. The bass is particularly emphasized, so many hip-hop and pop tracks will have a serious impact. Headphones are definitely not a device for audio purists who like their cans to be as faithful as possible to the recording quality of a song, but if you prefer a more lively sound (and many do), Soundcore Life Q30 provides this without sounding sloppy. What’s more, Anker’s complementary app has a graphic equalizer with several presets that allow you to customize the sound to something brighter or flatter.

Although the active noise cancellation of the headphones is not as effective as that of the Sony WH-1000XM4, it can still drown out a significant amount of low-intensity noise (for example, an airplane engine or crashing train) while cutting a noticeable noise level – highest pitch sounds. Noise cancellation also includes a “transparency” mode that combines external noise with your music without overloading it as well. Again, this is not as smooth as similar features in more expensive pairs, and has a more noticeable effect on the audio quality of the headphones. But considering that the Soundcore Life Q30 costs a quarter of the price, all of this is close enough to be of great value.
