Several corporations that gave tens of thousands of dollars to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) remained silent on whether they support the House Democrats’ attempt to overturn state certified Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa.
A handful of Democrats have asked their party to abandon the idea of overthrowing Miller-Meeks’ certified victory.
However, the Democratic leadership supported the effort to replace Miller-Meeks with his opponent Rita Hart after the former sat in Congress for two months representing Iowa’s Second Congressional District.
The main corporate donors to the DCCC remained silent about the House Democrats’ attempt to overturn Iowa’s certified election.

Amazon and Facebook each gave the DCCC $ 30,000 during the 2020 cycle through their political action committees (PACs). Google gave $ 37,000 and Microsoft gave $ 34,000 through its PACs. All four companies did not respond to Fox News ‘repeated requests for comment on whether or not they supported Democrats’ attempts to overturn the Miller-Meeks election.
All four companies donated to Republicans in the 2020 cycle as well.
Republicans have rejected the House Democrats’ ploy to pirate the Miller-Meeks chair in Congress.
Former Vice President Mike Pence criticized House Democrats on Twitter wire Tuesday, saying they are trying to “fix” the growing party gap in the House after “losing 13 seats in the 2020 election”.
“After losing 13 seats in the 2020 election, House Democrats have a number problem and are trying to get a seat in the House in Iowa to fix it,” wrote Pence. “Despite a bipartisan group of election officials in Iowa voting 5-0 to certify Mariannette [Miller-Meeks] after a recount. “
“Now, Nancy Pelosi has changed her tone – not trusting the states to certify her own elections,” added the former vice president. “Don’t let the House Democrats take this chair to advance your radical left agenda. We will stand up for democracy and stay with the Congresswoman [Miller-Meeks]! “
Miller-Meeks gave Pelosi a subtle blow by posting a photo on Twitter of the letter from the speaker she received when she took office.
“As a 24-year veteran military man, I am especially honored and humble to receive this flag raised on the United States Capitol on the day I took the oath to serve the people of Iowa’s Second Congressional District,” she wrote.

Miller-Meeks spoke out against the Democratic effort to take his seat in the House in a “Special Report” interview earlier this month, defending his victory with a state certificate and saying that people across America should be “outraged” at the attempt to overthrow it.
“Everyone across the country should be outraged by this,” said Miller-Meeks. “I was certainly encouraged by those people across the country who came to me and said that they are contacting their representatives to inform them of their discontent.”
