Amanda Seyfried still has “nightmares” with Les Misérables

Amanda Seyfried admitted that she still has “nightmares” about The miserable.

The Mamma Mia! the actress starred as Cosette alongside big names, including Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne and Helena Bonham Carter in the 2012 film adaptation, but confessed that she was not very happy with her vocal performance.

Speaking during VarietyIn the series ‘Actors on Actors’, Amanda told Vanessa Kirby that she would love to redo everything because of the difficult aspect of having to sing all of her songs live.

“I wish I could redo Les Mis completely, because the whole aspect of singing live – I still have nightmares about it, “she admitted.

Amanda was also very hard on herself regarding the voice, claiming that her live vocals were not as good as they should have been for such a large production.

She admitted that each actor’s voice had to be “as strong as necessary” and added: “I was very weak.

“I can’t – what a regret!”

Amanda said that she has since trained her voice to gain “some kind of resistance” while telling Vanessa that she was working on the vibrato that was not there when she shot the film almost a decade ago.

“I feel like I could definitely play Cosette now,” she said.

Although there are no plans for Amanda to return to the role now (as far as we know!), The star is about to go to Netflix with her new movie Tthings heard and seen.

Amanda stars alongside James Norton on the project, which will launch on the streaming service in April.
