Amanda Gorman’s Super Bowl poem costume includes sky blue studded jacket – Shoe News

Amanda Gorman shone blue when she delivered a poem during the Super Bowl LV.

On Sunday, Gorman – who made history as the first poet to perform at the Super Bowl – presented an exciting composition, wearing a bright sky blue coat. The pierced outer garment was adorned with studs and crystals and was completed with an embroidered floral design.

Gorman combined the look with a pearl stripe. The accessory became a signature of Poet Laureate, as she displayed the look during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” on the cover of Time magazine, which she combined with a vibrant yellow-sleeved princess dress, and at the presidential inauguration last month. At the inauguration, Gorman opted for a red satin sash from Prada to match his unforgettable sunny designer coat.

For his performance at the Super Bowl, Gorman paid tribute to frontline workers amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. “Today we pay tribute to our three captains / For their actions and impact in / An era of uncertainty and need. They took the lead / Overcoming all expectations and limitations / Raising their communities and neighbors / As leaders, healers and educators, ”recited Gorman.

Tonight’s game is between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs in Tampa, Florida. The Super Bowl started with a presentation of HER’s “America the Beautiful” and a poignant version of Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan’s National Anthem. The Weeknd will take the stage for the highly anticipated halftime show.
