Gorman, who announced plans to run for president in 2036 as soon as he is eligible, recently signed with talent agency IMG Models. His upcoming titles “The Hill We Climb: Poems”, “Change Sings: A Children’s Anthem” and a special edition of his opening poem topped Amazon’s bestseller list.

“Today we pay tribute to our three captains
For their actions and impact on
A time of uncertainty and need.
They took the lead,
Exceeding all expectations and limitations,
Elevating their communities and neighbors
As leaders, healers and educators.
James felt the wounds of war,
But this warrior still shares
Your home with children at risk.
During Covid, he even helped
Live football broadcast for family and fans.
Trimaine is an educator who works non-stop,
Providing access points to your community,
Laptops and technology workshops,
So, your students have all the tools
They need to succeed in life and at school.
Suzie is the ICU head nurse at a Tampa hospital.
His chronicles prove that, even in tragedy, hope is possible.
She lost her grandmothers to the pandemic,
And fight to save other lives in the ICU battle zone,
Defining frontline heroes risking their lives for ours.
We will walk with these warriors,
Continue with these champions,
And fulfill the call of our captains!
We celebrate them by acting
With courage and compassion,
Doing what is right and fair.
While we honor you today,
They are the ones who honor us every day. “
