Allen v. Farrow ‘reveals video of Dylan Farrow, 7, describing Woody Allen’s alleged sexual abuse

In the second episode of the docuseries in four parts Allen v. Farrow, HBO first revealed the video of Dylan Farrow, 7, now 35, alleging sexual abuse by his father, Woody Allen, who has repeatedly denied all charges. Farrow’s mother, actress Mia Farrow, decided to record these conversations with her daughter after a family friend, Casey Pascal, told Mia a story told to her by her nanny.

While the story is being told, Pascal and Mia went shopping while leaving their children with each of their respective nannies at Mia’s house when Allen arrived. Mia says that when they got home, Dylan was not wearing his underwear. The next day, Pascal said that his nanny told her what she had witnessed and called Mia.

“Alison (the nanny) said she saw Dylan sitting on the couch with Woody kneeling on the floor with his head buried in his lap,” said Pascal. “And she said that she felt that she had entered a very adult situation and realized that it was a child, that it was a child she was seeing and that she was deeply horrified. She said that Dylan was looking out of nowhere, and Woody’s face was in her lap.

According to Mia, she asked Dylan if this was true, and when she said it was, it was when Mia decided to record.

The first video is dated August 5, 1992. In it, Dylan says: “He touched my private parts and was breathing on my leg. And then, this is what I mean, he squeezed me so hard that I couldn’t breathe. Asked where he touched her, Dylan points to show his mother.

It was on this day that Dylan claims that Allen sexually assaulted her.

“We were in the TV room and he reached back and touched my butt. And then he told me to go to the attic with him, ”said Dylan. “I remember lying on my stomach and my back to him, so I couldn’t see what was going on. I felt trapped. He was saying things like, ‘We are going to Paris together. You will be in all my films. ‘So, he sexually assaulted me. I just remember focusing on my brother’s train set. And then, he just stopped. It was over and we just went down. “

In a separate video, also dated August 5, 1992, Dylan, 7, said: “We went to your room (Mia’s room) and went to the attic. Then he started telling me strange things. Then, secretly, he went to the attic – he went after me and touched my private parts. “

According to the documentary, over the next two days, Mia recorded every time Dylan talked about what supposedly happened to Allen, including in the attic.

“Well, when I was in the attic, he said, ‘Don’t move. I need to do this.’ But I moved my ass to see what he was doing, “said Dylan, 7,” He said, ‘Don’t move. I need to do this. So, if you stand still, then we can go to Paris. ‘”

Earlier on Sunday, before the episode aired, Dylan Farrow posted a long tweet in which she wrote about how difficult it was to make her video public as a child public, but ended up deciding to do it in the hope that it could help adults to understand how an abused child can interpret such horrible experiences.

Allen v. Farrow airs on Sundays at 9pm HBO.
