PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Health Department is reporting 463 new cases of Coronavirus and 20 additional deaths, including a child.
Of the new cases reported, 285 were confirmed in 1,271 CRP tests. There are 178 probable cases.
The Health Department says the new cases range in age from 1 month to 99 years, with a median of 41 years.
Positive test dates range from January 2nd to 19th.
There have been 3,832 hospitalizations in Allegheny County since the outbreak began. Of these, 776 patients required ICU care and 290 were placed on ventilators.
The death toll across the county is 1,245. Today’s reported deaths include a child under 10 years of age. Of the other 20 patients who succumbed to the coronavirus, two were in their 60s, four in their 70s, five in their 80s and anyone was in their 90s.
The Ministry of Health says it has no further information to disclose about the child who died.
There was one reported death in August, nine in December and 10 in January.
There have been 65,577 cases of coronavirus among Allegheny County residents since the pandemic began.
