Alleged stalker who left sweets outside a woman’s house, arrested after shooting her husband, trying to kidnap her

The man reportedly left sweets and food at the door of the former colleague.

A man was arrested after chasing his ex-colleague for more than a month, shooting her husband and trying to kidnap her from her own home.

The incident occurred on Friday, April 2, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, when the unidentified kidnap target was leaving for work in the morning, while her husband escorted her to her vehicle when they saw the suspect, Justin Arthur-Ray Davis , sitting in his truck nearby, according to a statement from the Tulsa Police Department (TPD).

It was then that Davis got out of his truck with a shotgun and chased the couple with them as they ran back to their apartment.

“Davis shot through the door, hitting her husband in the hand,” officials said. “Davis [then] he entered the apartment and grabbed the victim by dragging him down the stairs, assaulting her on the way. “

Police say the neighbors woke up to the sounds of the incident and witnessed Davis “strangling and punching the victim”, prompting them to call 911 immediately.

“The husband then came down the stairs to save her and Davis [pointed] the shotgun to him saying that he will kill him if she doesn’t get in the truck, ”said TPD. The suspect would then have fired two shotguns into the air.

Davis took off when authorities started arriving at the scene, which led to a short police chase on I-44. But when the suspect tried to take an exit ramp, he crashed the car when he lost control of it.

Davis was transported to a local hospital due to a laceration on his head and was admitted to Tulsa County Jail. The police recovered the shotgun and ammunition at the scene of the accident.

It has not yet been released which charges Davis will face for his involvement in this incident.
