Also appearing before the magistrate was George’s wife, George’s wife, Giselle Hobson, 37.

Hobson, who lives at the same address as George, was not charged with Bharatt’s murder, but is accused of receiving stolen items belonging to the court clerk – his bank card, clothes and earrings.

Hobson and George are the parents of a small boy.

Both were denied bail and were held in custody until March 10, when matters will be submitted to the hearing again.

Bharatt’s funeral will take place today.

His body will be taken to the family’s residence at 9 am, then to the Arima Court of Justice.
