FLORIDA – Registrations for appointments through Publix for the COVID-19 vaccine start online on Wednesday morning at 6am
All appointments to Lee, Collier and Charlotte County were fully booked at 6:48 am.
People aged 65 and over and health professionals can apply for consultations in several Florida counties.

Publix advised people to don’t leave the page because if space is available, they’ll automatically be redirected to a page with instructions on how to make an appointment.

Publix updated its vaccination record page to show a countdown clock for each time the page is updated and a count of consultations available next to each county.
Vaccination appointments are only scheduled online. Commitments can no be done by calling Publix or Publix Pharmacy.
Publix employees are asking people to be patient, as there will be a large number of people trying to register online at the same time. For each query, there are at least 10 customers trying to register for it, said Publix Communications Director Maria Brous.
If you are unable to make an appointment on Wednesday, check back on Friday, February 5 at 7am for your next opportunity.
Note the time change when registration will reopen on Friday.
Publix said it is actively engaging with customers in Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Customers can also call the Publix helpline after 9am at 1-800-242-1227.
