All Apex Legends fans and nerfs arriving at the Fight Night event

Fight Night will be the next collection event at Apex Legends, with a new Town Takeover with a Pathfinder theme, new skins and even a new LTM. Here is everything we know about the next event.

Since the first in the first season, the collection and themed events have become a big thing at Apex Legends, as fans look forward to the new content added between seasons.

At these collection events, Respawn Entertainment launches a whole lot of new skins, challenges and daily goals – with limited time modes sometimes part of it, as well as new Town Takeover locations.

As for the 7th season of Apex Legends, the Fight Night collection event has been officially announced, so let’s take a look at what’s in store for players during the event.

Launch date of the Fight Night collection event

After weeks of speculation, rumors and tips being released, it has now been confirmed that the Fight Night collection event will be launched in January 5 in 8 PM PT (11 PM ET / 7 AM GMT), with a series of buffs, nerfs and changes coming with the update as well.

With the announcement of Fight Night, we discovered all the new cosmetics, LTMs and balance changes, among other things, arriving at Apex – let’s take a look at them.

Apex Legends Fight Night skins and cosmetics

In terms of new skins, the trailer showed some of them, and it was revealed that the Fight Night Collection event brings another set of 24 themed cosmetics for a limited time to Apex Legends, for a large selection of our favorite characters.

All 24 items will be available through direct purchase (for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals) and in Event Apex Packs during the event.

Each Event Package will come with one event item and two non-event items with the following delivery rates:

  • Event Items: 50% epic of the event, 50% of the legendary event
  • Non-event items: 70% rare, 20% epic, 10% legendary

In addition, if you collect all 24 items, you will receive this glorious heritage from Gibraltar.

New Airdrop Escalation Takeover LTM

With this update, Respawn is giving us the Airdrop Escalation Takeover, which they say is “testing a new approach to LTMs”.

Instead of launching a separate playlist, Airdrop Escalation LTM will be an “acquisition” of the normal Apex game mode: classic Battle Royale, but with much more supplies scattered across the map, allowing you to fly faster than ever.

Each supply drop contains a fully equipped weapon of different levels, depending on the round. For example, round one drops feature level two equipped weapons, while round four drops include red armor and crate weapons.

Pathfinder Town Takeover

Pathfinder Town Takeover is launched for the Fight Night collection event.

Pathinder becomes the last legend to orchestrate a city acquisition at the Apex Games. In this takeover, entering the ring will prevent any player from using their weapons and any of their skills. This means that you have only one weapon at your disposal: your fists.

And you won’t have to worry about outside interference, as players won’t be able to launch projectiles or shoot you while you’re in the ring, so if you’re caught there, you should be safe – at least, for a while.

New Loot Rewards MRVNs

After being previously deactivated, MRVNs will now reward players who interact with them at Olympus, producing loops at levels equal to what is shown on their screens. Here’s how to know what to expect from them:

  • White sad face = common level 1 plunder
  • Blue neutral face = rare level 2 loot
  • Satisfied purple face = level 3 epic loot
  • Very happy yellow face = legendary level 4 loot

If you shoot an MRVN after collecting your loot, they can drop your arm for you to store in their inventory, and taking it to another MRVN with the missing piece can earn you an extra reward as well. It is still unclear exactly how this will work, or what the rewards will be, during the collection event.

Legends and fans of guns and nerfs

Some legends and weapons will be slightly different when the January 5 update is released …

Finally, Respawn revealed that there would be a series of balance and quality of life changes in the January 5 patch notes. The main players you will want to note, however, are the nerfs and buffs who come for various legends and weapons.

Caustic and Rampart, for example, are improving their skills, while the controversial Hemlok assault rifle, as well as the Mastiff shotgun, will receive nerfs to better align them with other weapons.

So, that’s all you can expect at the Apex Legends for the Fight Night gathering event, so get ready for some big changes and start grinding for Gibby’s heritage!
