Individuals who decide to join the San Antonio city text alert system can send text messages VACCINE at 55000 or in Spanish VACUNA at 55000. When they sign up, they will receive a text notifying them of locations that have open hours. Choosing this text alert system will not sign you up for a vaccine or add you to the waiting list. This is an additional method of informing the community when new commitments are available. At this time, notifications will be for Alamodome, Wonderland of the Americas operated by University Health and WellMed.
