Luke Skywalker blue lightsaber
Luke’s blue lightsaber, also known as the Skywalker lightsaber, is still one of the most iconic weapons in Star Wars. First appearing in Lucas’ 1977 film, which launched the franchise, the blue-bladed lightsaber was originally owned by Luke’s father, Anakin Skywalker. After Anakin’s transformation into Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi dueled with his former Padawan and took the gun after the main defeat. Luke used the characteristic lightsaber during his Jedi training, but was lost when Vader cut his hand in The Empire Strikes Back. The blue lightsaber later returned on Star Wars sequential trilogy when Rey briefly took ownership. After repairing it, Rey allowed Ben Solo to use it after his redemption, but he was buried in Tatooine.
Luke Skywalker’s yellow lightsaber
Although not shown in any live action Star Wars In the movies, Luke spent time using a yellow lightsaber after losing his original weapon in Cloud City. Marvel’s canonical comic book, Star Wars # 6, followed Luke, Leia Organa and Lando Calrissian traveling back to Cloud City. Although the Jedi was unable to retrieve his weapon, he had a vision of a woman named Verla, guiding him to the Outer Rim. On his journey, he arrived at an old outpost of the High Republic era, where he acquired a weapon once held by guards at the Jedi Temple. It is currently unclear what happened to the yellow lightsaber in the canon.
Luke Skywalker green lightsaber
When Luke lost his first lightsaber during a duel with Darth Vader, he built a new one with a green blade. The cable was designed to look like Obi-Wan’s third lightsaber in Star Wars canon. The weapon was first revealed in Return of the Jedi during the rescue of Han Solo on Tatooine. When the Empire fell after the Battle of Endor, Luke held his green lightsaber as he embarked on the restoration of the Jedi Order. He took him with him when he went into exile in Ahch-To. When Luke became one with the Force, the lightsaber remained on the planet where it remained in the possession of the Caregivers.
