After the death of the prolific host of the game show, Jeopardy! was presented by a rotating cast of guests.

After Trebek’s death, ex-Jeopardy! champion Ken Jennings started shooting episodes on November 30th.

Jennings is among the main figures considered to replace Trebek, although he has avoided any public lobby for work.

The show’s executive producer, Mike Richards, said Trebek ‘mentioned a few names but wanted to stay out of it’ because ‘no one is going to replace him and he knew it’.

Richards will be directing the series for a few weeks after Jennings’ race to give the next hosts time to ‘prepare for their appearances’.

Among those who will replace Trebek’s ending are Mayim Bialik from The Big Bang Theory, Bill Whitaker and Katie Couric from 60 Minutes.
