Alaska Airlines passenger reportedly drunk faces $ 250,000 fine for behavior he claims he doesn’t remember

It must have been one of the worst hangovers ever.

A passenger flying on an Alaskan Airlines flight claims that he does not remember having behaved aggressively with a crew member. Unfortunately for him, his actions may have violated federal law and he could face several years in prison and a hefty fine.

The incident allegedly occurred on an Alaskan Airlines flight from Seattle to Denver on March 9.

The incident occurred on an Alaskan Airlines flight from Seattle to Denver on March 9, reports USA Today. According to the media, the FBI arrested Landon Grier when the flight landed due to the behavior of the passenger on the plane.

Grier allegedly admitted to the agents that he had drunk several beers and several doses of alcohol before boarding the plane. He apparently fell asleep on the flight and woke up to the flight attendants yelling at him for urinating in his seat.

While he was apparently passed out, however, Grier reportedly assaulted a flight attendant who asked him several times to put on his mask, which had apparently fallen off while he was sleeping.

Grier reportedly told federal agents that he did not remember this.

Unfortunately for Grier, he is facing federal charges of interfering with flight crew and flight attendants. This charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a possible fine of $ 250,000, regardless of whether or not he remembers doing so.

In a statement obtained by Fox News, an Alaska Airlines spokesman said, “The safety of our guests and our crew is our highest priority. We will not tolerate any disruption on board our aircraft or at any of the airports we serve. We appreciate the efforts of our dedicated teams who are committed each day to keeping travel safe and respectful. “
