Alamodome to open 10,000 COVID-19 vaccine consultations on Sunday

SANTO ANTÓNIO – The San Antonio Metropolitan Sanitary District will open 10,000 vaccine consultations on Sunday at the Alamodome vaccine site, officials said.

Metro Health is working with state and local partners to help distribute vaccines to individuals designated by the Texas Department of Health Services.

The first 10,000 dose of vaccine markings will be available on Sunday on Metro Health’s COVID-19 vaccine registration website.

“Residents without internet access can call 311 for help with registration,” officials said in a statement. “The region continues to focus on vaccinating Phase 1A and 1B populations, which include healthcare professionals, EMS providers, home healthcare professionals, long-term care workers residing in long-term care facilities and people with more 65 or over 16 with chronic health conditions. “
