After praising Jay as a “great businessman”, Akademiks made some criticisms of the Roc Nation mogul. “Jay-Z bought a company, he said it was for black creators. He said that people shouldn’t support Apple and Spotify because they are owned by whites and he wanted to have something for the culture, for the artists, for the artists, and he wanted to keep it owned by black people and he wanted to do it like that. He did a lot of B-Side shows and shit like that, talking about black excellence, black power, you should support him because he owned a black business although we found out later, when they went to Sweden at Tidal’s headquarters, virtually none of Tidal’s high-ranking officials or executives were black. ”

Akademiks noted that Jay made a Tidal deal with Sprint, where he reportedly left the house with hundreds of millions, and now the rest of his shares now belong to Square. “The Tidal owned by the Blacks is now owned by Jack Dorsey, the white man.” He accused Jay-Z of being a “bait and switch” businessman, adding, “That’s the only thing I don’t like about the way he does things.”

“He is not doing this for blacks, he is doing it by his own selfish means,” said Akademiks. Swipe the finger below to check out more Akademiks analyzing Jay-Z’s movements and let us know if you agree or disagree with his opinion.
