With the spin-off of the CBS pseudo-sequence of Thomas Harris” The Silence of the Lambs’ to premiere on Thursday, the network is offering viewers three new views Clarice. Situated a year after his “claim to fame” case, he resulted in the overthrow of the serial killer “Buffalo Bill” (and holding himself against Dr. Hannibal Lecter), Agent Starling (Rebecca Breeds) returns to the FBI with skills that make her more attuned to the evils she hunts (and those that chase her). But those skills are also forcing her to confront personal memories of her past that she would have preferred to remain buried.

In the clips below, Attorney General Ruth Martin (Jayne Atkinson) draws on her family’s previous experiences with Starling to convince her to join the Violent Criminal Seizure Program (VICAP) in the investigation of three serial killings. From there, viewers can see Starling arriving on the scene for the first time with VICAP- and it doesn’t sound like Krendler (Michael Cudlitz) impressed by the reputation that Starling brings with it.
