Sony boosts Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Uncharted, Cinderella and Peter Rabbit 2

Paul Rudd co-stars as a local teacher who is documenting unexplained phenomena, making friends with Callie and his children and helping to make the connection between current strangeness and the events of three decades before.

Mckenna Grace, 12 (Captain Marvel, Annabelle comes home) stars in Ghostbusters: life after death, with Carrie Coon (The leftovers) playing his mother and Finn Wolfhard (Weird stuff, THIS) as your brother. Paul Rudd (Avengers: Endgame) will play a teacher in the film, while Oliver Cooper and Bokeem Woodbine will also be featured. Original stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts will reprise their characters.

Jason Reitman (Juno, Young adult, Tully) directed the new film, replacing his father Ivan Reitman, who directed the first two and will be the producer. Reitman, who had a cameo in 1989 Ghostbusters 2, co-wrote the script with Gil Kenan (Monster house, Poltergeist), who knows ghost stories.

The remake of the musical film by Cinderella it is considered a modern re-imagination of the classic fairy tale of the orphan girl with an evil stepmother presenting a musical inclination. The idea for the project came from an original idea by the late-night talk show host James Corden, who will produce alongside his Fulwell 73 partner Leo Pearlman.

Inside Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, the lovable rogue is back. Bea, Thomas and the rabbits raised an impromptu family, but despite their best efforts, Peter is unable to shake off his mischievous reputation. Venturing out of the garden, Peter finds himself in a world where his antics are appreciated, but when his family risks everything to look for him, Peter must find out what kind of rabbit he wants to be.

James Corden will once again lead the cast of voices like the voice of Peter Rabbit with Margot Robbie and Elizabeth Debicki returning as the voices of Flopsy Rabbit and Mopsy Rabbit. Domhnall Gleeson and Rose Byrne will also reprise their roles as Thomas and Bea. The sequel will also feature the addition of Emmy nominee David Oyelowo.

Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway it will again be written and directed by Will Gluck, who co-wrote the script with Patrick Burleigh. It is produced by Gluck and Zareh Nalbandian with Doug Belgrad, Jodi Hildebrand, Catherine Bishop, Emma Topping, Thomas Merrington and Jonathan Hludzinski acting as executive producers.

The first film received mixed reviews from critics, but grossed more than $ 320 million worldwide, surpassing a similar family franchise Paddington 2, which grossed more than $ 225 million at the global box office and holds a 100% “Certified Fresh” score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Based on the action-adventure video game Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune from Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive, the story follows a descendant of explorer Sir Francis Drake, a treasure hunter named Nate Drake, who believes he has discovered the whereabouts of El Dorado, South America’s legendary golden city, from a statue of cursed gold. The search becomes competitive when a rival hunter joins the fray, then intensifies when creatures – in fact, mutant descendants of Spaniards and Nazis – begin to attack those who hope to discover the treasure’s true secrets.

Unknown is a production by Arad / Atlas Entertainment, with production by Charles Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner and Ari Arad. The film will be the first feature film produced by PlayStation Productions. The film is scheduled to be released on July 16, 2021.

Despite previous drafts of names like Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty), Oscar nominated David O. Russell, Doctor StrangeThomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer, Safe houseby David Guggenheim and Joe Carnahan, the new draft of the script was written by Rafe Judkins, Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.

Travis Knight became the sixth director to leave the project in its decade-long development cycle, which started with Russell on board, followed by Neil Burger (Unlimited), Seth Gordon (Baywatch), Shawn Levy (Free face) and Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane)
