Bears receiver Allen Robinson knows that the winds have changed. And he is getting ready to react accordingly.
According to a league source, Robinson suddenly adjusted his position in relation to the franchise brand that was applied to him. With the news emerging today, Bears brought receiver Kenny Golladay on a visit on Wednesday, Robinson is changing from not wanting to sign to seriously considering him.
Along with the current market in the receiving (and overall) position, Robinson may be realizing that his best move is to take $ 17.9 million this year and hit the market next year.
He may want to do this before the Bears realize that, dollar for dollar, the $ 17.9 million reserved for Robinson could be better spent elsewhere.
