PEMBROKE PARK, Florida. – The United States Coast Guard suspended the search for the missing 29-foot boat between the Bahamas and South Florida that did not reach its destination.

Coast Guard District Seven received a report on Tuesday that a blue and white 29-foot Mako Cuddy Cabin, last known for departing from Bimini, Bahamas, on Monday did not arrive as expected at its destination. , Lake Worth.

The Coast Guard and partner agencies surveyed approximately 17,000 square miles, almost twice the size of Massachusetts, for about 84 hours, according to the U.S. Coast Guard’s 7th Southeast District.

The search was suspended Friday.
