Rumors about the launch of a OnePlus smartwatch in the first quarter were finally eliminated when the company adopted Twitter for confirm that they would be announcing one alongside the OnePlus 9 series. While it has done a good job of keeping the details about the wearable secret, a new leak tells us almost everything we would like to know.

According to a trusted informant Ishan Agarwal (through Pricebaba), the watch will have a 46 mm circular dial and will be available in standard and LTE variants. If you expected the OnePlus to experiment with color, you will be disappointed to learn that it will only be available in silver and black.

According to a follow-up tweet in Ishan, the watch does not appear to be working on Wear OS. This does not necessarily reduce the appeal, as it looks like it will be full of features. The IP68-rated wearable supports automatic training detection, swimming mode, sleep and stress tracking, heart rate monitoring and an SpO2 sensor – it has a lot in common with the OnePlus band.

In front of smart features, there is support for calls and notifications, music control and the ability to control OnePlus TVs. There is 4 GB of onboard storage, probably for playing music offline via Bluetooth headsets. OnePlus is bringing its Warp Charge technology to the watch, with a 20-minute charge, apparently providing a week of battery life.

There is no pricing or availability information yet, but we hope to find out more on March 23.
