The NFC playoffs will give us the oldest NFL quarterback duel this weekend. At AFC, the story is different.

All four starting defenders whose teams advanced to the AFC playoff division round are 25 years old or younger. This is the first time that all four starting quarterbacks in the divisional playoffs at a conference were 25 or younger.

On Saturday, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who just turned 24, faces Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who is 24 and 9 months old. On Sunday, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes faces Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, 25.

Mayfield, Allen and Jackson were all chosen in the first round in the 2018 NFL draft, and this is also the first time that three defenders from the same first round are in the divisional playoffs of the same conference.

Jackson vs. Allen will be just the fourth round clash between quarterbacks aged 24 and younger in the Super Bowl era. The previous three cases were Dan Marino vs. Bernie Kosar after the 1985 season, Daunte Culpepper vs. Aaron Brooks after the 2000 season and Mahomes vs. Deshaun Watson last year.
