Adobe adds collaboration features to its creative package

Adobe has just made life considerably easier if you are working with others on a creative project. The software giant has updated Photoshop, Illustrator and Fresco with an “Invite to Edit” feature that allows anyone on a computer, iPad or iPhone to asynchronously edit a shared cloud document. As with productivity tools like Google Docs, you can hand over your work to someone else knowing that it will be updated when you return.

IPhone users will have to settle for editing invitations at Fresco, but they are widely available on apps and platforms.

There is an extra update for Photoshop users. You can now synchronize the presets of the creative application wherever you use them, including brushes, gradients and even the order of these tools. Mac and Windows users can try to sync today, while synced brushes are “coming soon” for iPad owners.

Adobe is, to some extent, catching up with other productivity applications with its new editing and synchronization capabilities. This puts Creative Cloud in line with the other productivity apps you already use and can help you finish the art much sooner.
