Adele will not pay alimony to Simon Konecki

Adele and Simon Konecki have agreed to have joint custody of their son and neither party will pay child support.

The ex-boyfriends will have joint physical and legal custody of their 8-year-old son Angelo, according to a divorce decision obtained by TMZ.

Adele’s representative did not comment.

The trial also stated that more details about their child support contract are presented in a separate trial that has not been publicly filed.

Last week, Adele, 32, and Konecki, 46, finalized their divorce almost two years after the breakup.

We reported in January that Adele and Konecki had reached an agreement on the divorce, choosing to determine the community’s property rights and debts through mediation.

They ended the relationship for the first time in April 2019, after seven years together. Although there were rumors that she and Konecki were secretly married, the singer did not confirm that they were husband and wife until the 2017 Grammy.

“They are committed to raising their child together with love,” a representative of the singer told the Associated Press at the time.

She officially filed for divorce from Konecki in September 2019.

During the break-up, the singer spent a great deal of time with her son and focused on personal improvement.

“She is free and witty and feels like a new person,” a source told People at the time. “She is happy, healthy and eager to continue to improve.”

The magazine also reported that Adele changed her diet, increased her exercise routine and turned to a personal trainer and Pilates classes.

“For her, it’s not about losing weight,” said a second source. “She wants to stay healthy for the sake of her son and, although it was a challenge for her to maintain a new exercise routine, she is adhering to it.”

“She has taken a more serious interest in improving herself and is having a lot of fun,” added the source.

Adele made headlines last year when he debuted a dramatic weight loss, allegedly telling a fan that he lost about 45 kilos. The singer allegedly used the Sirtfood diet and exercised to lose weight.

In October 2020, it was rumored that she had switched to rapper Skepta, but later she denied the relationship, confirming her status as a single on social media.
