Adam Sandler recreates the iconic “Happy Gilmore” Drive on the film’s anniversary

On the 25th anniversary of “Happy Gilmore” – arguably the greatest golf film of all time – Adam Sandler access the links to recreate the iconic swing of your former protagonist – and it was epic !!

Adam dusted his clubs … explained that this was the first time he used the old 3-step approach to hit a starting shot in a quarter of a century – and then he launched a golf ball into outer space !! !

The best part? ADAM SPOKE SMACK TO SHOOT WHILE DOING THIS !!!

“Sniper McGavin, this is for you,” said Adam, before shooting. – I’m not lying to you. It was destroyed. Crushed. It went very well. You’re dead, sniper!

Of course, on February 16, 1996 … Happy came back from a 4-stroke crash to win Shooter and win the gold jacket – and the film has become legendary in the sports world ever since.

In fact, if you go to a local Top Golf to hit the strokes, the rules there even state that Happy Gilmore swings are not allowed !!
