Accumulated snowstorm forecast for Sunday – NBC Connecticut

Meteorologists from NBC Connecticut’s first alert issued a first alert for a snowstorm on Sunday that will affect the whole of Connecticut.

Winter storm clocks, warnings and notices have been issued for parts of the state.

A winter storm alert was posted in northern CT. A winter storm alert was issued for the southern CT.

A winter weather warning has also been issued for a part of Fairfield County, including Danbury.

A low pressure area will bring a period of snow from early morning to early evening on Sunday.


Snow can get heavy at times during Sunday afternoon. The heaviest snow will likely occur along the I-84 corridor and points to the south and east.
