After running back Zack Moss suffered an ankle injury at the end of the season last Saturday, the team moved on to add a veteran to the running back room.
Devonta Freeman signed on to the training team after being released by the Giants last week. On Wednesday, Bills coach Sean McDermott said the team is working to get Freeman ready to play as soon as possible.
“I had the unfortunate opportunity to go against him for many years at NFC South, ”said McDermott, through Chris Brown on the team’s website. “So bringing it in was a good move and it adds to what we have and we will try to get it to work as soon as possible.”
Devin Singletary and Antonio Williams are also taking part in the running back, while Bills is preparing for Saturday’s home game against Ravens.
