Aaron Rodgers’ future with the Green Bay Packers may have been questioned immediately after the NFC Championship, but it does not appear that the team will deal with the superstar quarterback.
The Los Angeles Rams is set to acquire Matthew Stafford from the Detroit Lions by Jared Goff, but the team reportedly made an offer to the Packers by Rodgers.

Los Angeles Times sports reporter Sam Farmer told the NFL Network on Sunday that the Rams tried to negotiate with Rodgers, but the Packers were “adamant” to keep him.
“They wanted to upgrade Jared Goff,” he said. “They felt that there were a number of defenders who could do this. I think Deshaun Watson was out of his price range. They tried to hit Aaron Rodgers, and the Packers were adamant that they were not negotiating with him.”

Rodgers’ future with the organization was in question after the game was over. He clarified the comments he made after the game during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” last week.
“Obviously, after the season I had, potentially winning the MVP and we obviously had another good race, I don’t think there is any reason why I won’t be back,” he said. “But there are not many absolutes, as you know, in this business. So, to make an absolute statement about something that is not absolute, I didn’t.”

Rodgers will likely win the 2020 NFL MVP. He led the Packers for a second consecutive 13-3 season. He led the league with 48 passing touchdowns. He added 4,299 passing yards as well.
