Aaron Rodgers’ future in Green Bay was much discussed this offseason, but on Monday night an aspect of his personal future was revealed: he will marry actress Shailene Woodley.
Woodley told Jimmy Fallon in The Tonight Show that the two are engaged. Woodley added that football is not what she loves about Rodgers.
“I have never been to a football game yet,” said Woodley. “Before meeting him, I had never seen a football game. When we first met, I knew he was a football guy, but I didn’t know what kind of guy he was. I don’t know him as a football guy. I know him as the nerd who wants to host Danger!. This is the guy I know. He is also very good at sports. “
Woodley said friends told her about how good Rodgers is.
“I never thought I’d be engaged to someone who made a living by playing balls,” said Woodley. “As if I never thought when I was a little girl, I thought, ‘Yes, when I grow up, I’m going to marry someone who plays balls, yes!’ But he’s really good at that. He can throw fast balls, he can throw slow balls, high balls, low balls. “
