After the Buccaneers faced the Packers in Week Six of the regular season, Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers hoped to have a conversation with Tampa Bay’s defensive striker, Ndamukong Suh. With an NFC championship approaching with both teams, Rodgers has no such aspirations.

“I don’t think there will be much talk this week,” said Rodgers on Tuesday The Pat McAfee Show on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio regarding the potential interaction with Suh. “I wouldn’t expect much conversation.”

Rodgers explained earlier that, based on an interaction with Suh during the regular season game, Rodgers “had the impression that we were going to have a conversation after the game.”

During the game, Suh showed a little more fire and intensity when chasing Rodgers.

“It was one of those, hey, I’m old, you’re old, let’s talk a little,” said Rodgers at the time. “I don’t know if he ran off the field after the game. I didn’t see him after the game. . . . I was looking forward to this conversation. I didn’t know how it was going to happen. I didn’t think it was, like, look, I’m not going to fight Ndamukong Suh. . . . After all these years of playing together, we never had this conversation off the field. I think it would be interesting. “

It wouldn’t be as interesting as the moment in 2014, when Suh deliberately stepped on Rodgers’ leg, was suspended from a game for misconduct and then claimed (probably with a serious face) in the appeal process that Suh didn’t know where he stepped because his feet were numb.
