That’s why Sarah Michelle Gellar says she believes she’s “looking forward” to any potential Buffy The Vampire Slayer restart.
Now 43, the actress made her comments while appearing on the podcast On with Mario Lopez. Although he still looks extremely young, Gellar said the show requires a teenager in the role of The Slayer.
Gellar said she is “a little bit, as they say, very much looking forward to it.” The monsters that Buffy faced “were a metaphor for the horrors of adolescence,” she explained. “I think this story lends itself, it would be interesting to see how a chosen one would deal with it. I don’t think it’s me, I don’t think I should be the one doing this. “
She added that she is “too tired and angry to do that job again”.
