A Disney World guest reportedly refused to comply with the COVID-19 security protocols and found himself on the wrong side of the law. According to reports, he tried to claim that he had paid too much for the trip to be arrested.

Kelly Sills recently pleaded not guilty to charges related to a February incident at Disney World in Florida, reports the Orlando Weekly. The Louisiana native reportedly passed a temperature checkpoint near the park’s retail and restaurant area and refused to return and complete the check when confronted by the team.

Authorities soon arrived and took the man into custody, reports Yahoo News. According to information released recently, while Sills was being arrested, he claimed that he paid “$ 15,000” for the trip to the park and therefore could not be arrested.
Sills also claimed to be a Disney shareholder. He reportedly told the police that he was willing to have his temperature checked after he was already being escorted out of the park. One of the policemen is said to have told Sills that his temperature would be checked in prison.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney World has enacted regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests and workers, including temperature checks. Apparently, this is mandatory for everyone, regardless of how much they paid for the vacation.
Fox News contacted Disney World for comment, but the company’s representatives did not respond immediately.
