OnePlus 9 series comprising all three OnePlus 9, 9 Pro and OnePlus 9R / 9E devices is all set to launch on March 23. All new smartphones are highly expected to bring some exceptional features that will compete with smartphones from other manufacturers. A lot has already been made public through various leaks and rumors in recent months. Now, a new report from Pricebaba confirms the presence of 50W wireless charging support in the OnePlus 9 Pro.
It is a significant update over the 30 W wireless charging that was present in the OnePlus 8 Pro. To assist in the enhanced 50 W wireless charging, the report notes that the company will also launch a new wireless power adapter. There were earlier rumors that the OnePlus 9 Pro featured a 45W fast charge. However, all three devices feature 65W wired charging to quickly charge the OnePlus 9 Pro 4500 mAh battery.

OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus 9 Pro will come with support for a rear square camera with a 48MP Sony IMX789 primary sensor and a 50MP Sony IMX766 Ultrawide sensor. According to the leaks, the other two lenses include an 8MP telephoto lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
In addition, the OnePlus 9 Pro will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and 12 GB of RAM. A 6.78 inch fluid AMOLED display can be part of the package, while supporting a resolution of 1440 x 3100 pixels. The screen also supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, less obstructive drilling hole and Corning Gorilla Glass. It will run on OxygenOS based on Android 11. Unlike other smartphones, the OnePlus 9 Pro will come with a built-in 65W fast charger.
OnePlus is expected to launch a standard and cheaper variant of OnePlus 9R / 9E / 9 Lite to face competition from other manufacturers. Meanwhile, OnePlus 9 Pro will compete in the premium smartphone segment.
The OnePlus 9 series will feature a rectangular camera module and has two vertical sensors. The OnePlus 9 will come with a triple rear camera and the OnePlus 9 Pro houses a quad rear camera.
