Given that we are already in the 14th iteration of iOS, it should come as no surprise that the iPhone has all kinds of smart and interesting features lurking just below the surface. And while Apple routinely highlights important new iOS features at WWDC every year, the company just doesn’t have time to cover each new addition to its mobile operating system.
The bottom line is that the iPhone you are probably holding right now as you read this article is much more powerful than you probably think. As a good example, a popular video currently circulating on TikTok shows how easy it is for users to take a screenshot of an entire web page in Safari Mobile.

While taking a screenshot by itself is simple and can be done by simultaneously pressing the side button on the iPhone and the Volume Up button, things get more complicated when you want to capture the screen of an entire web page. Fortunately, Apple developers have made it much easier to do just that.
To get started, simply navigate to a web page you want to take a screenshot of and, as you normally would, press the side button and the Volume up button at the same time. When you do this, you will see a preview of your screenshot in the lower left corner of the screen.
If you tap the image preview once, you will be taken to a page where, at the top, you will see an option that says “Full page”. If you select this, you can capture the entire web page with a single screenshot. And if you want, there’s a cropping tool in the upper left corner if you’re not interested in capturing a selected snippet from the entire web page.
After cropping the image to your preference, just tap the Done button in the upper left corner, when you will have the option to save a PDF version of the web page in your Files application.

Truth be told, this feature has been present on iOS for years and is nothing new. Still, with many people still new to the iPhone platform or perhaps unfamiliar with some selected energy features, there is a good chance that someone will see this tip and be surprised.
It is worth mentioning that this particular trick only works on mobile Safari, which means that you cannot use it to take a snapshot of one of your text message conversations.
Meanwhile, WWDC 2021, if history is any indication, will happen next June and it will be interesting to see what kind of support features Apple plans to launch this year. What’s curious about the iOS 15 release is that we haven’t really seen any significant rumors about the software update, except that the update is likely to no longer support the original iPhone 6 and iPhone SE.
