Johnny Damon got into a fight with policemen, showed up to bomb field sobriety tests and even brought up his Trump support during his arrest last month … and the wild scene was all captured on police video taken by TMZ Sports.
Damon and his wife were stopped around 1:23 am on February 19 in Windermere, Florida, after police said he was veering off the road and driving erratically.
Once a policeman stopped Damon … the body’s camera captured the ex-Yankee and the Red Sox defender admitting to drinking before taking the wheel.
Then there was an intense standoff between the official, the former MLB star and the baseball player’s wife.
In the video, you can see the officer ordered that Damon and his wife, Michelle Mangan-Damon, to stay in the car, but neither of them obeyed … and a push dispute started.
At one point, the officer grabbed Mangan-Damon’s wrist … before Johnny got involved to separate the two.

The bumps and jerks were so heated that the policeman’s camera fell to the floor.
Fortunately for all parties, reinforcement arrived and the police were able to resolve the scene.
Damon and his wife spoke repeatedly of their support for the police, continually mentioning, “The lives of the blues are important.”
And, at one point, Damon brought his affinity for Trump to a police officer, saying “Hey, man, I’m a good shit guy.”
Damon was then asked to complete some sobriety tests … but you can see in the video, it doesn’t look like he passed exactly any of them with praise.
Damon was finally arrested and fined on several charges, including driving under the influence and resisting arrest without violence.
A police report later showed that police said Damon’s blood alcohol level was 0.30, almost FOUR TIMES the legal limit.

Damon’s wife was also arrested after the parade and fined for assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest with violence.
Court records show that Damon pleaded not guilty to his DUI charge last month. He is due to return to court in May.
Meanwhile, Mangan-Damon has also pleaded not guilty to the charges against her, court records show.
