Snyder debuted the new clip during a Snyder Cut panel at IGN Fan Fest.
Another exciting teaser for Zack Snyder’s Justice League was released just two weeks before the premiere of the four-hour film, R-rated HBO Max. The new teaser clip was shared by the director Zack Snyder during a discussion panel for your new Justice League cut at the 2021 IGN Fan Fest. There were many insights into Zack Snyder’s Justice League that were shared by Snyder during the hour-long conversation with IGN. In addition to the teaser clip, Snyder also offered new comments on the in-depth discussions with Warner Bros. to ensure a runtime of four hours, how Superman’s black suit came to be and why he’s excited to share more images of Ray Fisher‘s Cyborg – a character that Snyder considered “the heart” of his Justice League cutting – with fans.
The clip, entitled “Mother Box Origins” was released at the beginning of the panel “Justice League: Inside the Snyder Cut with Zack Snyder” at this year’s IGN Fan Fest. Lasting about two minutes, the clip is a fully CG sequence that shows several mother boxes, with each mother box dedicated to a different member of the Justice League. As the camera rotates over each of the motherboards, Tom Waits” Time ” can be heard – a nod to all the time that has passed and with it, all the major events that every character in the Justice League has suffered to this point.
The parent boxes also contain Easter eggs for each of these characters, including the weapon that killed Bruce Wayne’s parents, Cyborg’s football helmet, the home of Aquaman Atlantis, the enemy of World War I Wonder Woman , Doctor Poison, and even a reference to the “Flashpoint” arc in The Flash. It seems that all the Easter eggs of the characters presented in this fun CG sequence refer only to events in the past of the DCEU, and not to what is to come Zack Snyder’s Justice League. That’s cool – we already had a good preview of what’s to come in mid-March.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League debuts on HBO Max on March 18. Check out the new exclusive character clip “Mother Box Origins” below.
